Irony Is Dead: Fox Warns About Foreign-Born Billionaire Spending Millions To "Influence" American Media

Earlier this week, writing at Foxnews.com, the Media Research Center's Dan Gainor published a very ominous look at the media world of George Soros, and how the progressive billionaire was trying to "influence" the American press by funding various journalism institutions, such as ProPublica and the Columbia School of Journalism.

The piece contained some sizable holes, however. For instance, we noted how Gainor failed to mention the ominous Soros "ties" that could be connected between Soros and Fox News if you wanted to play the guilt-by-association game that Gainor engaged in. While Gainor didn't like some of the topics being covered by the Soros-funded institutions, he failed to point out anything that was wrong or unseemly or biased with the journalism they produced. In fact, Gainor praised their work.

2. Wondering where that came from
Someone posted that George Soros is taking over the media on Facebook. Everytime I hear this shite I know it came from Fox. I just never had proof. Thanks for this . . .

10. But they're conservative, which makes the All-American-A#1 to the freepers
It doesn't matter where they're from. It only matters that they confirm and reinforce the prejudices of Fox viewers - as far as the Fox viewers are concerned. That makes them Honorary Americans.

7. Fox/GOP should focus more on the Nazi background of the Koch brothers who with their billions are
doing more damage to this country than any terrorist could ever do. Between the Kochs, Fox/Gop, Republicans, religious extremists, militia groups et al, it would take the average terrorist 100 lifetimes to do the damage these people and groups have done and are doing to this country in just the last 10 years. FOX should spend more time investigating these actual domestic terrorists rather than throwing their rocks into the bushes to divert attention from the actual dangers in this country, which would also include, Murdoch and his entire terrorist organization called "News Corporation".
