Couldn't wait to finish my chores and homework so I could listen each night. Now I have the entire collection and can listen to my heart's content. Some even have the commercials...:love:

6. I love all kinds of old radio stories

And remember Mystery Theater, too. I moved from NYC to Colorado in '76 and those stories were on the radio here, also.

Last year I finally broke down and got an ipod and put a whole bunch of old time radio on it. It was big when I was growing up. Long John Nebel, Jean Shepherd, Jinx Falkenberg, Carlton Fredericks, Bob & Ray to name a few. It was always the "talk" station of AM radio.
