9. A brilliant mind. That Baker Street was one of the few mainstream pieces that was really solid.
I remember those days. And that tune was so real. Getting up for work and hearing that made my day.

Check out his Wiki - Mr. Rafferty struggled for years with alcohol abuse and self-imposed isolation. Sad story.

14. I've been working in radio too since the mid 70s....
After Stealers Wheel he was all over the radio for years with all those great songs we still love.

RIP Gerry, you gave us a lot to remember you by.
