Pawlenty Will Be The Republican Nominee In 2012- |
|
Edited on Wed Jun-08-11 09:19 AM by KittyWampus
He bridges the gap between Tea Party nuts and Grover Norquist/Corporate Privatizers.
His personality is boring, but that's a plus.

1. I don't think you're wrong. |
|
It's still early, but if republicans want someone tolerable who's not a liability to explode, Pawlenty is their person.

5. I Still Say Romney, But It Wouldn't Surprise Me |
|
It doesn't matter. I don't see any Republican capable of winning the nominaton who is capable of getting as many as 100 electoral votes. It's going to be 1996 all over again. They'll serve up a sacrificial lamb that will get slaughtered while they concentrate on 2016.

11. I say it will be Romney too. In fact, it should have been Romney |
|
rather than McCain the first time around. I think they've learned their lesson and will go with Romney even if they have to pinch their noses shut to do so.

6. I agree; it's time (for us) to stop focusing on the extreme nutjobs. There may be *just* enough |

cool heads in the GOP to put a "normal" candidate up against Obama. Although, he might be balanced out with a running mate who appeals to the base -like Bachmann or Santorum.

8. That doesn't matter one bit to the Repig primary |
|
electorate. It might even be a badge of honor over in psychoworld.
TPTB know Timmeh the Tool is controllable, unlike Mooselini, Bachmann or the rest of the "light the nuclear fuse and bring back Jebus" brigade but I do agree a loony like Santorum would be his likely VP nominee.

9. he's just despicable enough for the baggers |
|
what with him blaming "class warfare" on Obama. Unbelievable. That statement coming after a decade of the largest looting of the economy in US history by the oligarchy.
