Seriously, what a selfish, perverted (in relation to common decency standards rather than some prudish ideal) cretin Weiner has shown himself to be.

6. Here's the article from the NY Daily News:
The possibly career-killing photo series of the congressman show him repeatedly grabbing his crotch – first in his towel, then in his underwear and then in the buff.

It was not immediately clear how the website obtained the images but the website said they were sent via his Blackberry to at least one woman.

12. .
TMZ obtained the pics Weiner took of himself using his Blackberry and a mirror. Congressional sources have confirmed with TMZ ... the backdrop is indeed the House Members Gym in the basement of the Rayburn House Office Building.

The pics were taken on both the gym floor and in the locker room.

TMZ has confirmed the pics were sent online to at least one woman.

I said I would be that some of the pics were in the House members locker room or something. The CONS have been planning this for a while they were angry because Weiner called them out on Cspan and on the house floor and in other venues because, THEY CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH! and they don't want the truth to be told.

This is how they shut up Democrats with the help of Bluedog/CONS who are really republiCONS who do nothing to help us and are/have been doing everything they can to put obstacles in the way of anything the President tries to do...

151. No, but I sure many others have quirks and frankly I don't care.
To me, Weiner needs help-he couldn't help himself and his urges were stronger than his common sense. I didn't want to hear and read about Clinton and the cigar either, but the media keep on reporting it and Ken Starr made sure it all was made public, But Clinton was and is a good public servant and he was a darn good President. Ben Franklin was known to have unusual sexual relationships and it did not interfere with the man's accomplishments. I resent the RW and the media for exposing me to the dark side of a good man who did a lot of good and spoke truth to power while, representing those who elected him. Was it really necessary for us to have to see and hear about his sexual addictions? I don't think so.

It's hard to accept that one of our own, particular a fighter as articulate as Anthony Weiner, fucked up to this degree - but if he was a teacher, he would be long fired. I can't fathom why some assume its OK for him to remain in office where now he has simply made a fool of himself! This distraction needs to end ASAP.

And yes, I have heard the meme that other dickheads (David "Diaper" Vitter) remained in office - he should have had the guts to resign too! 2 wrongs...

I think the only person that he needs to answer to is his wife.

With what we know right now, I don't think it's any one else's business. And if we didn't stick our noses into other peoples sex lives, there wouldn't have been any need for him to feel like he had to lie in the first place.

all of us.

Why don't you just show it to all his constituents that he has fought so hard for all these years. The ones that might end up with a RETHUG who is going to cut all their much needed teachers and police and fire persons. The ones who are going to take their money away and give it to their rich buddies. The ones that are responsible for this horrible disparity between the rich and poor in the country.

Are you happy now?

159. Weiner's district is more than 90% likely to produce a very liberal democrat
as Weiner's replacement. If Weiner care about the causes that he claimed to care about, he would have resigned last week. Weiner is the type of person that would be a republican if he lived in a heavily republican district. The few progressives that are virulently backing Weiner can go on deluding themselves that Weiner stands for something, but as more information comes out on Weiner, the picture that is filling in is one of a political opportunist and savager of unwitting women.

I want our guys to be better than them. It's really not that fucking difficult. If our guys screw themselves out of their elected positions they screw us out of decent representation. They need to take their jobs seriously and seriously address issues. This is important shit and they can't be so brazenly stupid at such a critical time. I don't want our strongest voices advocating our positions are silenced by their own stupidity. For me it's not about the sexual aspect. It's not about the lying, even. It is sad that Democrats are the ones fueling this hysterical outrage.

Remember when Clinton lied about having an affair and was impeached for it? Then Bush got into office, and most sane people realized that Clinton's lie about a blow job was small beans compared to the real problems we face.

Now Weiner lies about some photos, and the hysteria starts all over again. :eyes:

129. At a certain point, you begin to see the guy as weird first & foremost. Sorry, but he's a flake now
It's really, really hard to overcome being the butt of national jokes ...

When you're providing NEW material for every fresh comedy cycle.

161. Government property. Weiner's smart phone is likely paid for by the GOV.
In case the header is cryptic, using government property for unauthorized personal reasons is illegal.

Edited on Sun Jun-12-11 05:13 PM by Whisp
There really is something askew in his head. I see those pictures and I see a really insecure little puppy with illusions of grandeur about himself.

It's sad. I don't think I can be angry with his idiotcy any more, he just can't help it I don't think and he needs some help, or something.

Weiner should initiate a Congressional or gov'l official pin-up calendar and give the proceeds to charity.
