1. It's still an issue
But I have a feeling that most of the negotiations are taking place behind closed doors, and there is a good chance that the Democrats will get the what they got with the Bush tax cuts negotiations, not a mother fucking thing!!!!

But, who knows I could be wrong.

3. That would be bad news and shift momentum back to the GOP if things
played out that way. I thought I saw some threads on jobs or more stimulus yesterday. More stimulus might blunt the effect of government layoffs due to budget cuts maybe. Still anyone losing a job with the economy already faltering is bad news for the economy as a whole. I really don't understand why democrats don't do a better job of explaining that. Government workers out of work means fewer people paying mortgages, fewer people paying bills, fewer people paying taxes, going out to eat, or shop, more people requiring assistance. It's not good for anyone if someone loses their job...

4. The trade off was that
unemployment insurance was extended 13 months. Not saying I liked the deal but it wasn't nothing.

5. I know huh?
Think I'll send a quick email to some news shows asking for them to concentrate on things that actually effect more people. Not that that will do much....

6. I heard they are "only" a trillion short in cuts?
But they are making progress.
