What does this have to do with policy? Scandals, whether Republican or Democrat, just distract from what the public should be focusing on and that is policy. These character issues, like Republican hypocrisy, may be enjoyable and make us feel morally superior, but they don't change anything ultimately. The politician may resign or not, but if they come from Palm Springs, who do you think is going to replace them if they do resign? Not a Democrat. Let's keep our eye on the corporate takeover of America and leave the titillation to other venues.
