TPM: Florida Tea Party Leader: GOP Medicare Plan A ‘Public Policy Nightmare’
Oh, the irony! The utter, delicious irony! The same folks who protested against health care reform legislation because it was a move in the direction of "socialized medicine" are now defending a single-payer, government run health insurance program. You just can't make this stuff up!

1. Florida is gawd's waiting room
Lots of retired folks here, most of whom are happy with Medicare and hostile to GOPers who want to voucher it out of existence.

3. The Villages....
The Villages are the Land Of Confusion these days, no doubt. The Bluehairs voted republican and are now scratching their heads, perhaps coming to the realization that they voted against their own best interests. We can only hope they are waking up or coming out of their ignorantly bliss Sarah Palin/Rick Scott induced haze.

4. Reminds me of something my Dad said upon retirement . . .
When my parents, who lived in Pennsylvania, retired, a friend of theirs asked my Dad whether he and my mother would be moving to Florida. Dad's response: "What, go down there and wait to die with everyone else?" ;)
