With Russ and Grayson gone. We need to shift our hero worship to Anthony Weiner. |
|
As a fellow Long Islander, I can vouch for his passion and progressivism.

13. Alan Grayson is a champion of the people of America |
|
He was fortunate enough to become quite wealthy, without being born into wealth. Yet in spite of his millions, he never became detached from his roots. He will always be on the side of the ordinary working man and woman of this country.
His political agenda should be considered normal and mainstream. There is nothing wrong with being outspoken. It is an exercise in freedom of speech. The extremists tried to smear him and unfortunately they were successful in his defeat. But the fact that the right hated him so much was proof in my mind that Grayson was, is and always will be a genuine representative of the American people.

I would just say that some Democrats are a lot better than others at representing what the party stands for. Weiner is heads and shoulders above the rest.

Seriously, it's fine to admire these guys, but worshipping them is just plain dumb.

lost his own life pushing an autistic special needs child to safety. That is a hero.
