2. ....because I work for a company which doesn't want workers who perceive reality,
but rather will act as cogs in a machine, questioning nothing, obeying everything, and thus individually unaccountable when our own personal wad of shit hits the fan.

The response would catapult their resume to the top of the pile if I were the interviewer.

4. Most people would say that 'odd' questions give the unconventional thinker a chance to shine
The questions given vary widely, of course; some are straight mathematical questions that are highly appropriate tests for some positions (#10, about 'higher' or 'lower' guesses, was for a software position, Huffington Post said, and is a excellent question, with a precise answer, that a programmer ought to be able to find), while others are ones that allow for a lot of creativity in answering.

An answer of "fuck you, I'm not answering that" is hardly promising, is it? It's a job that involves working with people that they're interviewing for, not a criminal investigation.

13. As the applicant I'd already have walked out of the room. But I guess you didn't grasp that already.

3. The concept that so many students have to take out loans for schooling is wrong.
Why does someone have to go in debt to get an education?

I think providing for education is in the constitution.

Student Loans are part of the broken system.

14. Good thing I already have a great job where I wasn't asked inane psych test questions
engineered to intimidate. Even better--I'm represented by a union at my job.

Organizations that use stress interview techniques are often terrible to work for.

6. does this mean you didn't take statistics?
It was really hard, but necessary for most of those jobs.

#12 was the only one where I could think of being a smartass...answer depends on the price of cherries.

7. I was once asked this question at a job interview:
"You are teaching English at a public school on some Japanese island. The principal invites you over for dinner, and you graciously accept. While you are at the principal's house, he introduces you to his daughter. Then the principal says 'Now that you have met my daughter, you can sleep with her tonight if you want.'
What is your reply?"

9. My lips said one thing, and my face said another
Lips: "I would tell him that I was married and my wife would kill me if I did that"
Face: "This has got to be the dumbest question I have ever been asked in a job interview!"

11. To tell the truth, though,
I don't think they were very impressed with what my face said

(I can laugh about it now)
