Lady Blah Blah blahs again
http://blogs.desmoinesregister.com/dmr/index.php/2011/01/07/palin-obama-hell-bent-on-weakening-america/
<snip>
Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin said on talk radio Friday that the president’s willingness to raise the debt ceiling for the nation is a sign that he is trying to harm the country on purpose.

“What I believe that Obama is doing right now — he is hell-bent on weakening America,” the possible 2012 Republican contender said on “The Laura Ingraham Show.”

She accused the president of “purposefully” trying to harm the country and acknowledged that her stinging comments might “get some people all wee-weed up again.”

Palin didn’t spell out a plan for how to balance the current budget — that’s the only way to prevent the nation from defaulting without raising the debt ceiling. Defaulting on the nation’s debt is the same as telling creditors around the world that America no longer intended to repay its loans. That would send the dollar plummeting as investors lost faith in America.

2. Lose faith in America?
That sounds like the doctrine where every culture is a 'team'.

I don't think nations are 'teams' in that sense, maybe she doesn't either. As far as American defaulting blame Ronald Reagan, he ran up the debt.

And they wont default, they would only have to seize assets wouldn't they.

On a side note, I am still due beer and travel money and many experiences, so quit your bitchen.

3. It's fall down funny watching them celebrate St Ronnie
If we're lucky 'deficits don't matter' Dick of a war-criminal will croak on Ronnie's 100th birthday.

5. LOL!
Your running commentary on your beer and travel money due is now a legend here. It's hard to tell how serious you are about that, but if you are serious...

Dwelling on the past is not a positive thing. We've all had experiences in our lives in which some person(s) wronged us. But the only way to be truly free is to let it go...to forget about it and LIVE, free of the past.

The wrongs you've suffered may be uppermost in your mind, but those who wronged you probably would be hard-pressed to even remember those events that are so strongly imprinted in your mind.

You are a thinker. Think of the freedom you might attain by letting it go...

Love & Peace,
pinboy3niner

9. It is important, but not enough for it to matter.

Thanks for the advice, I do think it is with kind thoughts.

I could let it go, but then I would have to accept an unjust world. I figure they should 'let it go' and correct the debt of beer and travel money.

And a funny movie clip. Not sure if you get the joke in that, some mix of state ideas after someone said something about country ideas, and the Washington part, and the fact that the debt started in Tacoma Washington. There is humor in it. :D

Note the humor. Also in Team America.

18. Country? They don't think beyond Party...
Their M.O. is "Just Win, Baby!" They have no desire to govern. What would they do if they didn't have Democrats around to beat?

4. I really wish people would stop calling Palin "Lady Blah Blah" it immediatly links her to Lady Gaga
Lady Gaga does not deserve that linkage.

7. I believe that she's referring to Obama's own quote in 2006 -
"The fact that we're here today to debate raising America's debt limit is a sign -- is a sign of leadership failure. Leadership means the buck stops here. Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better. I therefore intend to oppose the effort to increase America's debt limit. "

12. The folks in DC who write the budget might consider making a reasonable
one that allows for inflation and population growth, and then stick to that budget.

It never seemed prudent for my household to keep increasing credit card limits, then spending to that limit. Instead, we made a budget, and lived within it. It wasn't that hard.

13. But then you don't offer special benefits to a few of your children
i.e. tax cuts for the rich - or siphon off money from the budget to fight your neighbors - i.e. two wars off the budget, or subsidize your favorites (banks, large farmers, etc).
