every time its like a knife jab in the stomach

every time there is another report of thousands of birds or fish all dropping dead, somewhere in the world, at the same time. a knife in the stomach.

I wince, I squirm. wanting to cry/rage/hide all at the same time.

and there is apparently nothing we can do to stop it.

I keep thinking of all the things the dead birds and fish eat to survive. and how birds spread around seeds, etc.

so what will move in to eat the uneatened? wish we could hear from some scientists about this.
