I would like to hear opinions if you have ever traveled to another country for procedures.

1. I have several friends who go to Mexico regularly for dental care

They all rave about the treatment they receive and the cost. If I lived closer, I'd go there as well.

4. I have a tooth . . .

. . . that my dentist said needed to be pulled and replaced with an implant. Many thousands of dollars worth of work.
I went to a dental clinic in Tijuana to see if I could get it done there for less.
The dentist looked at the tooth and spent what seemed to be a long time working on it. I still have the tooth.
Total cost was a couple hundred dollars which included two more small cavities being filled.
I think the prices have risen a bit since then, but needless to say I'd go back.

6. i woke up in a hotel bathtub in the philippines after a night of carousing

in a pool of blood-tinged ice water with a sharp pain in my side from where someone REMOVED MY LIVER!!!!!
