Who dealt it owns it
I am getting really ticked off with people thinking when a President comes into office he owns everything that was created before his term. That president didn't create those problems he has only not stopped them. There is so much crap to be dealt with that it is impossible to achieve 100% across the board. It takes time and even 8 yrs is not enough (but a good idea to only allow 8 yrs). Stop putting Obama's name on crap he didn't create. Once he tackles something then and only then does it have his name on it. Enough is enough. When you do put his name on something he didn't create and he hasn't tackled it, that is bs.

11. The things where he actually said "I pledge" or "I promise" to do, yes.
Too often I've noticed people claiming solutions to issues the President merely discussed, speculated, or elaborated upon during the campaign
were actually campaign promises (e.g.: 'I'd like to sees' don't count as campaign promises)

12. One must be careful of what they say
and I would have to disagree with you. They don't verbally make any promises. The I'd like to see is automatically considered promises to try and achieve.

17. Can't legitimately call it a promise if no promise was made.

10. Why do you think bush wants people to stop calling them
"bush tax cuts"? He knows they didn't work. He knows they helped create massive debt. Worried about his legacy.
