Giffords defended the Arizona law. She acknowledged the concerns about the bill's constitutionality but said it is a "clear calling that the federal government needs to do a better job" securing the border. < / article >

Lets not jump to conclusions just yet about who shot her or what their motives were. Knee-jerk reactions never do anyone any good. There will be plenty of time for fingerpointing and "I told you so's" once the facts are out.

If you're a Dem you're for wide open borders as far as the rabid right here is concerned. Gabby's opponent accused her of that through the whole campaign and the meme was spread by RW radio and blogs.
