Official statements from Repubs mean absolutely nothing
until they address the violent rhetoric and imagery coming from the right wing - no not the fucking fringe, the right wing.

They mean nothing.

3. Not all ... just listened to MSNBC interviewing the Republican
member of Congress who has an office next to hers. He sounded genuinely broken up about it, and also expressed sadness for the aides who were shot during the attack. It was obvious, from the sound of his voice, that he was very upset about the shooting.

There's a lot of demonizing of Republicans and Right wingers today on DU. Some of them deserve it, and should be called out. But not all of them. Please ... let's try to be fair.

4. sorry, most respectfully disagree
I heard the interview you are speaking of, and yes, it was obvious the man was very broken up by it, but I believe that all repubs MUST denounce the violent rhetoric coming from their own party.

This is not the first, second or third time a wacko has targeted the "Liberals"

6. let's hope this horror will shake them up into doing just that.
There will always be wackos targeting liberals, but i'm simply saying that not all Republicans are deliberately egging them on.
