Palin has a role in this, but let's NOT forget... |
|
How many teabaggers have cheered her on? How many have repeated her (and Rush's and Beck's et al) hateful rhetoric? How many have totally agree with them?
Don't let all the other teabaggers off the hook. Because I guarantee they'll be looking for someone to take the fall and Palin may be it. She has a big role in whipping people up but they also agree with what she's saying.

2. Obama has a role in it also. He does nothing to tamp down the rhetoric. |

6. Well if it's a responsibility to "tamp down the rheotric" let me say.. |
|
...you're an idiot. How can the primary target of hateful rhetoric control those who utter it?
Certainly there is a vein of "Blame Obama First" with some here at DU, but this is carried away.

7. He can't tamp it down but he can repudiate it and go after the criminals bringing us down |
|
We can make them pay a price and straight up go to the mattresses on their crazy asses. We damn well are under no obligation to pretend these fucking knuckledraggers are loyal opposition with the best interest of the nation at heart.
Nor do we have to give credence to their failed ideology and bizarre notions as if they could be seen as rational difference in opinion that deserves respect and compromise.
We have tremendous responsibility for allowing this bullshit without a fight and often eagerly assisting.
It certainly isn't an Obama caused situation but his handling has been arguably admirable but absolutely ineffective and probably has made matters worse.

3. We are not going to get them all on trial |

but she can be put on trial as an example. I spelled out the charge in another post. Depraved Indifference Homicide. It fits.

5. Add to this list Angle & Brewer & Bachmann and any member of |
|
the House or Senate who refused to denounce the RW hate speech. And then there is Limbaugh & Beck & all those wannabees who pollute the airwaves.

This guy bagged a Federal Judge that was in their crosshairs, too. Never mind the 9-year-old girl that he killed. She was just collateral damage.

11. Palin had the microphone...she had their ear and their support. |
|
It was in her power to be responsible and calm them down or rile them up. Palin has no consideration for anyone...except herself and advancing her career. Hope she enjoys her blood money.
