Jared Lee Loughner - Lyndon Larouche follower?
Incoherent ramblings, pseudo-fascist thinking, new currency systems?

Furthermore, Larouchies are known to target young people for brainwashing into their cult.

Having run into them distributing literature on my college campus I can personally tell you they are pushy and brainwashed.

I think he's more similar to these nuts than to the teabaggers.

:argh:

1. That's an interesting thought.
I'm still wondering why, based on his messages before his crime, he decided to target her?

4. Because she was there?
The gunman seems like he was too looney to belong to any political movement (including the teabaggers), but I'm suspending judgement until more facts are made known.

9. He was from the area. Shock effect. Lashing out.
4. @antderosa As I knew him he was left wing, quite liberal. & oddly obsessed with the 2012 prophecy. 8 minutes ago via Twitter for iPhone in reply to antderosa

6. @antderosa He was a political radical & met Giffords once before in '07, asked her a question & he told me she was "stupid & unintelligent"

Throw in a handy dose of readily available brainwashing and you get this horror. I would wager there are a fair deal of them in Arizona.

11. Mein Kampf and the Manifesto
Hitler wasn't too fond of the Communists if I'm not mistaken.

If this guy did have any Supremacist beliefs they wouldn't let a Communist in either.

This guy is just bat shit crazy.

16. And Ayn Rand's first novel, We the Living
Edited on Sat Jan-08-11 07:06 PM by starroute
The Communist Manifesto is more a "tremble in your boots, we're coming to get you" kind of document than anything approaching a coherent left-wing ideology. And We the Living is a kind of half-horrified-half-admiring account of revolutionary Russia.

I'd guess he was enamored with anything that projected the idea of violent uprising and didn't much care where he got it.

10. The only thing better than tagging him as a Palinite
would be tagging him as a LaRouchie.

It might get rid of them once and for all.

But yes, it would be very nice to crush their cult.

15. i just posted on another thread about the larouchies....
saying that they were some of the first thoughts i had when i heard about this...

i've had many run ins with these freaks at my local PO --they shout out terroristic phrases--harrassment, really- have huge pictures of Obama, Pelosi, Reid, etc., with gun sights on them---just complete losers in the human race.

13. I was at a Town Hall last spring
with my Congressmann, and there were a group on Larouchers there. They really are nut cases, and I will admit to having been a little nervous having them there.
