I didn't realize that AOL owns Huffington Post |
|
On Feb 7, 2011, AOL bought H.P. for 315 million. Arianna Huffington is the head of the H.P. Media Group. I'm not sure what this means. It seems like every independent company eventually gets gobbled up by the big companies. Years ago I bought a few shares of stock in a robotic company (the only such deal in my life). It was a company that built robots for car assembly lines. The price rose, but in a year, the company was bought out by GE. I sold, damn.
