The Republicans are becoming political geniuses. |

SS and Medicare are the third rail in politics but the Republicans desperately want to eliminate them.
Now, somehow, they have persuaded Obama to grab hold of the third rail while they just sit back and watch him fry.
They cut into SS and Medicare and destroy the Democratic presidency as a bonus!
I hate the outcome but that's some damn good politicking.

Please post a link to a quote where Obama said he will cut SS, Medicare, or Medicaid.
There is NOT quote, because Obama will not cut them.
All the BS that Washington Post posted is NOT sourced, and all the other article folks have written are referring to the WaPo article.

But you are right, I let my worry get ahead of myself. It has not occurred yet so I shouldn't be so outraged yet.
We will soon see what Obama chooses to do.
