Has You Tube somehow changed - or does it have problems today?

I've been trying to find a video this morning and visited You Tube a couple of times. I can't get any videos to play - not even the few of them that I have parked there.

2. I Had Problems Yesterday, But Today It Seems Fine

I read somewhere that if you're trying to watch a video, but all you're getting is a black screen, you should try re-typing the address with a "https" on the front of it instead of just "http". I tried it yesterday, and it did work, but I kept getting annoying messages about displaying secure content and had to keep clicking No.
