7.25pm: Tom Watson has said there is more evidence to come which will implicate more News International newspapers.

The Labour MP, who has been one of the key players in driving the phone hacking agenda, told Channel 4 news that there is more evidence against the Murdoch empire, which involves "the use of computer hacking", and will "cross over into other News International newspapers".

6. Imagine what they were doing during 2000, 2002 and 2004 elections here.
Probably WORSE than in UK. Why isn't the US Justice Dept launching a fullscale investigation here since it's the SAME EFFING COMPANY?

35. Still pretending the elections weren't stolen.
Just occured to me. Much of NOTW's info came from bribed cops. Our cop unions don't love the Republicans anymore. I wonder if there's anything they'd like to say to, say, Wikileaks?

14. I wish we had some strong left leaning newspapers
like The Guardian and Independent. They are really doing an outstanding job of staying on top of this. Thank goodness for the internet or we would be clueless. However, it also helps to have Olbermann covering it on Current.

26. Corporate types tend to be willing
to rat out anyone in order to stay out of the Big House. And the people implicated are not middle-level types; this rot runs straight to the top of the old pirate's empire This could get very interesting indeed as the former execs go in to full-disclosure mode to try to keep themselves out of HM's prisons.

"8.50pm: More on the reports that subeditors at the Sun have walked out in protest at the sacking of colleagues on the News of the World. A source told the Guardian that some subs left their desk for 30 minutes but are now back at them"

Even better...there is even a chance it could hurt some of our right wing politicians as well. The ones who have been so chummy with FOX.

with AT&T...Zod only knows what Ruperts evil plans were and who he tapped during that time. I would suspect he helped Bush get elected, both times.
