card check, and improvements to health care reform.

It is indeed the time that "Dems need to act like Dems and it's time we make them." Repubs are blocking passage of each of those issues.

Every political group or individual calling or writing me looking for donations gets the same answer - I pay attention, and I give my money to individual candidates that promote progressive views, issues and laws. I'm 49 years old, and in all likelihood will be in the first groups of ordinary citizens who will personally feel the effects of whatever changes come to pass with regard to Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security. Every American deserves to retire with a measure of dignity and security.

and I am so sick of apologists who constantly say any Democrat is better than the alternative. They just aren't, since the aggregate effect is this constant rightward slide. If we made it clear that corporate shills can't win, they'd eventually stop running them.

After two, and now possibly 3 years with no raises in SS, and getting my company pension cut by 65% by the PBGC, and losing my guaranteed retiree health insurance. I can't afford to donate anymore.

And if I could, there would be very few who would get it.

After that, it's torches and pitchforks in the streets.
