http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/7_July_2005_London_bombings

I have not read the whole thing, but the first sentence is pretty bad.

"The 7 July 2005 London bombings (often referred to as 7/7) were a series of co-ordinated suicide attacks by the usual muslim filth upon the United Kingdom, targeting civilians using London's public transport system during the morning rush hour."

1. Did you notify Wikipedia? Is that what one does?
(Why don't you go look for yourself, gateley? Okay, I will.)

9. We can go in and edit it ourselves or notify Wikipedia. There
are so many steps, I gave up, hoping another DUer, or another Wikipedia reader will do it (passing the buck, I admit). I'm actually pretty confident it'll be fixed because I've RARELY seen articles that have offensive stuff like that.

Thanks for letting DU know, though - this is always where I turn first for help!

13. No, Wikipedia is community-edited.
Basically, anybody can edit anything but there is a set of rules/procedures/etiquette/conventions involved. I'm an active editor, if you want to be too make a habit of reading the editing-histories of some common and frequently-edited non-controversial pages and read the About Wikipedia page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:About

8. It's already been changed.

Though the person who fixed it messed up the template on the page.

Such vandalism usually doesn't last too long on Wikipedia. In this case, it last about 14 minutes.

Edit: Went ahead and fixed the formatting error on the page so the page is back to normal.
