Poll question: Consider your state's Senators. Would either or both vote to change Social Security or Medicare
You state has two Senators, they might vote the same way on the issue or they might not. If there were a debt limit bill before the Senate that made any change at all to Social Security or Medicare would either or both of your state's Senators vote for it?

22. One absoloute for sure, one probably not ...
PA - Toomey would destroy SS in a heartbeat, and cheer like he won the SB after it. Casey PROBABLY would not, but not as sure to not as Toomey to ...

2. Al Franken wouldn't.
But Amy Klobuchar might if she thought it would make more people like her.

6. Senator Franken wouldn't however what we won't know what Klobuchar
will do until we know what's political expedient and advantageous to her personally. I'm sure she's currently outside with her finger in the air. "The Senator had not released a statement" is what her constituents hear on a regular basis.

Chambliss and Isakson. They would probably orgasm over the opportunity to cut those programs.

24. Depends what the change is
Sanders says the problem could be solved by raising the income cap on payroll taxes - http://videocafe.crooksandliars.com/heather/bernie-sanders-lift-income-cap-social-secu

No one is better than Sanders on this.

21. Change is too broad a word
It would include even raising the cap on the income that is taxed. This is one thing that was recommended by the strongest advocates of SS and Medicare - including Bernie Sanders. (http://videocafe.crooksandliars.com/heather/bernie-sanders-lift-income-cap-social-secu ) It would also include ANY reform or restructuring of Medicare, even if they did not cut benefits.

As written, I would have to say both my Senators would vote for SOME changes - even though Menendez and especially Lautenberg are good on this issue.

25. 1 yes, 1 no
Kohl=no, Johnson, the teahadist, most assuredly yes. The basta**! He is the sorriest excuse for a senator, you'd have to delve into some of the senators from reconstruction to find a sorrier-a** excuse for 'store-bought' senator.

27. West Virginia: Rockefeller wouldn't, neither would Manchin (I hope).
Manchin you just can't tell, he's just Republican-light, and not all that light either. Jay Rockefeller has his heart in the right place, but I won't vote for him anymore. He did and does everything in his considerable power to make sure the intelligence community never comes under public scrutiny and has helped advance its assault on our rights.
