Who is the most influential person in Washington, DC? |
|
President Obama? Boehner? Harry Reid?
None of the above. It is:
Unnamed Source
This individual speaks to all journalists, particularly political journalists. He/she even lowers him/herself to pass secrets to bloggers on political sites who write under a pseudonym. You'll find Unnamed Source at every DC gathering, or lurking on the edges of a room. Sometimes, Unnamed Source can even be found in the dark corners of the imagination, always ready to provide exactly the information the journalist, pundit, or erstwhile blogger needs to reinforce some strange idea that came to him or her while suffering from a bit of indigestion.
Yes, the most important person in Washington, DC is the one and only Unnamed Source.
