David Horsey Toon: Where will I get...

This is one of those times that it is nice to say, “I told you so.”

About a decade ago, I went on a study tour to assess the success of family planning programs in Mexico. At the end of the trip I wrote a column in which I predicted the USA’s struggle to control the flood of illegal immigrants would eventually be resolved, not by building a wall or stationing the army on the southern border, but by demographic shifts inside Mexico.

It now appears I was right.

Data from various sources indicates the number of illegals crossing into the United States is plummeting. Millions of Mexicans breached the border over the last three decades, but now, according to researchers, the net total of immigrants has dropped to zero. You read that right – zero.

3. That would be funny!
But I believe that to be 100% true. In a few years, we will have people fleeing to find jobs.

7. I might have to join them sooner rather than later
because it's pretty obvious the GOP won't be happy until they've killed Medicare instead of saving it by widening the pool to younger, healthier people.

I hate what they've done to this country.
