Thank You Nancy Grace. While the governmental coup occurs,
Edited on Fri Jul-08-11 01:55 PM by truedelphi
You have most TV anchors talking about one single criminal case in Florida relating to a little girl and her mother, and the dysfunctional family the mother hails from.

Thirty eight thousand people who are uninsured die in The USA every single year. And more than likely, another thirty eight thousand die due to the insurance they have paid for stone walling them while they seek desperately needed treatment.

Now the Milton Friedman-forces are about to stage the final dance on America's dance card. Social Security is officially "an entitlement" that will be chopped away from Americans, despite the fact that until the Milton Friedman policies crashed the economy starting in 2006, the Social Security Fund was achieving something few governemnt programs have known - a surplus.

This program had, until the last fifteen moths, a two point one Trillion dollar Surplus.

Yet chop it the Democratic/Republican collusionaries will.

Obama was all smiles last night as he spoke about the great advances the meeting of minds had accomplished. He is the smiling face of the One Big Money Party, and woe be tide to anyone who speaks differently. After all, does someone want Newt Gingrich or Donald Trump seating in his seat? Or horror of horrors, Sarah Palin or Bachman?

But those of us who were educated at a time when history was still taught in our grammar and high schools remember this one salient fact: someone like FDR would not
even have met with those bastards yesterday! A President who cared about the Middle Incomed would have used the Bully Pulpit of the WH to trumpet the fact that the American people have already given enough - the support for two onerous unending wars, and the December 2010 continuation of the Tax Cuts, all of which support very few jobs for Americans, are enough, and no more is needed.

I guess that President will remain elusive and someone I see only in the TV of my solitary mind. He or she certainly will not spring forth from the loins of either of these dastardly Give Away to the Rich, Socialism for the Elite, bought and paid for Political Parties.

5. That is a great remark.
It is very interesting which murders and abiusive behavior cases she is willing to discuss. Did she ever mention the five separate murders of military spouses occuring in late 2003 to 2005 when soldiers from Iraq returned to their home base in the Carolinas? Nope, of course not.

Let a military person becom so warped after the tours of duty in Iraq that they take out their wife, and that gets wept under the carpet. Even when the situation repeats, and repeats, and repeats.

6. At this point it really does not matter who gets to enjoy the
many perks of living in the white house. We have been beaten, robbed, and left for dead at this point. I will not go vote for a president that destroyed the only two decent programs for the regular people in this country. The rightwing have wanted to repeal Social Security even before Roosevelt put the program in place. Now, we have a quasi-democrat in office who will have the 'honor' of taking the only small security net most of us will ever have away. I shudder to think of the future that is now in store for most of us. This is not the change I had in mind when he spoke of it so often back in 2008.

7. Let's be honest
How many of those news anchors, without Nancy Grace, would have been talking about the uninsured dead, the destruction of the safety net, et al, to begin with? And how many of her viewers would have paid attention? I think they likely would have found some other scandal, or missing white girl, or sensational crime story, or reality TV celebrity dustup on which they could focus their attention.

10. Headline News Network is the poor cousin of CNN. The remote IS your friend.
Click.

Problem solved.

I am vehemently against censorship. I do it myself, for myself, but don't expect some authoritative bunch of bullies to remove "offensive content" to shield me from morons like NG.

I guess it's Open Season on Obama here. Interesting to see so many of his former acolytes ripping the guy to shreds. I guess climbing up is easier than staying on top.

11. Quit blaming Nancy Grace! 100% of the people who watch her do so of their own free will -
- and they all are able to switch the channel, turn off the TV or just go to sleep if they want to ignore her. There's plenty of info about the "government coup" out there but people don't want to see or hear it. They're powerless to do anything about it until election time and they already know how miserable they are. WHY do you think that musical's and comedy's were such a hit during the great depression?

Quit killing the messenger. Not only does it not make any sense it also solves nothing.

12. Nancy Grace drives the news cycle? Are all the other news anchors her puppets?
Most people I know can walk and chew gum at the same time. I have followed plenty of real news stories in the last 2 weeks without ever seeing Grace on my TV. I suggest you stop fixating and learn to change the channel.

When I don't care about weather, I don't watch the weather channel.
