We've all been duped by an fact-free article in the Washington Post, written by someone posing as a journalist. The more fools us, eh?

I posted this saying in a reply in another thread, and thought it was worthy of an OP. Many people got taken in with that Washington Post story from Wednesday night. But, it was wrong. It was conjecture. The person who wrote it isn't a journalist, really.

6. Actually, it's not. I posted a reply in another thread, in which I
used this allusion to a Holiday Inn Express ad to point out that the journalist in that Washington Post ad isn't really a journalist at all.

I thought it was a pretty clever thing, so I reposted it as an OP. Happens all the time. Copycat threads are against the rules. Converting a post of your own into its own OP is not against the rules. That's what I did. It might be lame, but it's not a rules violation.

BTW, I added the link to the video in my post in that other thread, too.
