NEW YORK (AP) - New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg will officiate at one of the city's first same-sex marriages - the union of two top staffers in his administration.

Bloomberg plans to preside over the wedding of John Fein-blatt, Bloomberg's chief policy adviser, and Department of Consumer Affairs Commissioner Jonathan Mintz.

They've been together for 14 years and have two young daughters.

Bloomberg said Thursday that he's "honored to be part of it."
