8. I've looked through a scope mounted on a rifle. I recognize crosshairs when I see them.

There is NO QUESTION of the underlying implication.

It could have been dots to indicate the locations. It could have been stars to indicate the locations. It could have been a host of other symbols.

But Palin chose CROSSHAIRS.

11. Combined with all the crazy rhetoric spinning around it all, yes.
But this has involved a LOT of imagery and messaging riling up fear, anger, and the tough stance of "patriotism" that comes from a loaded gun.

But yes, there could be someone for him that could be an invitation for violence.
