Carlin said it all.

George Carlin, Stand Up Philosopher (You know, like from History of the World Part 1)

It's pretty fucking sad that the truth had to come from a man who included "p***y farts" and "dingleberries" in his act.
But it makes sense, considering that most of our politicians are a bunch of fucking jokes.

You know, without the left leg to hold someone up, the right leg can't kick you in the ass.

Perhaps someday we'll realize the cycle that is exploited:
1. Plea to elected official for change
2. Elected official courts you, makes you think they give a shit
3. May even act like you'll get change
4. Hears from their owners in big business
5. Fucks you over
6. You feel powerless and disappointed

“We the people...”

That lack of power is just an illusion. Only inaction can let tyranny stand for long, as the people are the source of power in any nation and in any time.

But the real reason all this happens, like Carlin said, is big business. Even medium sized business is on this.

Rich people have access, we don't. They donate large amounts of money, that make the large amounts of small donations look puny. And no politician could meet with the people they represent, one at a time. It's mathematically impossible. The politicians are not public servants. They are powerful, and they serve big business. Partly because those are the only people they can ever really meet with, along with lobbyists and interest groups. Public servant? That's a fucking joke. After all, when was the last time Bruce Wayne turned to Alfred and said he was so exited to meet him, ask him to take a photograph with him, and then have him autograph it?

The power of our politicians comes from big business.

"Rich people create jobs! It all trickles down."

Like hell they do! Power and prosperity do not trickle down, but I know a couple things that do, and you don't want any of those.

Don't forget it. Popular sovereignty shouldn't just apply to government, it should apply to all things where power is concerned. Even business. To have any other form of organization is to invite the tyranny of that business into our government. Trickle down is the economic equivalent of the divine right. It as if they "POOF!" got a bunch of money out of nowhere, and then out of the goodness of their hearts, employed people. Bullshit.

You have the right to control your own business, and when you are organized within a larger unit, your control of that unit should be equal to the amount of investment you have in it. Whether that is capital that comes from money or goods, or from the value of your services. To have an organization where people are exploited for interests other than the vast majority of its membership, as in an un-American corporation, is to have an innate absurdity. It's like the American Bar Association deciding one day to promote lawlessness. It's fucking stupid.

Corporations should have the inherent goal of maximizing profits for the people doing actual work AND the people who contribute funds. And to maintain democracy, one should limit the amount of money one can contribute, most of the interests in the company and power should lie with the people doing the work. Capital and risk should be democratically distributed, so that when a person comes to participate in a business, they have a relatively equal stake.

This is the only way we can move forward and one day again have democracy in our government. We must realize, that although the powers of the economy and the government must be separated, that both help balance, check, and limit the other. It is as if the government and the economy are branches in a greater separation of powers in life. Those who would tell you otherwise invite doom upon us all. We should not let the failures of this system lead to repeats of the known horrors of history.

But this does not mean we give up on a democratic economy, it means we have only begun to fight.

It is becoming a very bleak hour, and it appears as if we have lost. But I want you to know that WE THE PEOPLE will again control this nation. We must see this tyranny in the economy for what it is: the biggest lie going. And when we do, we also should see the government for what it is: of, by and for the most powerful people in our nation, and I dare say in the world.

This realization, this understanding, this truth is the basis of a new declaration of independence. Not from a monarchy on an island on the other side of an ocean, but from a small island of people who think they have the inalienable right to practically own everything and to control everyone. And when you know that this is tyranny, you sign that declaration of independence. One that will not disinclude more than half the population, but is as diverse as the people who see life for what it is.

And know what we must now do: liberate ourselves from this tyranny and once again walk the earth as free people.

Democracy cannot exist, free markets cannot exist, in a nation where 74% of the wealth is held by only 10% of the people. And where 50% of the people control less than 1% of the wealth. These people are exploiting socialist ideas, forcing the vast majority to insure their losses, and they privatize the profits. I don't think so. You either have one or the other, but not both. They decry socialism when we want universal health insurance, but they have no qualms it seems with universal bank bailouts.

Life will not go back to "normal" if we do not make a stand now as a nation. We must do something. We must take action.

We need change we can believe in again, but to get that, we must realize that WE THE PEOPLE are the ones we've waiting for, not some politician.

We will overcome yet again, and the people who'd dare think this is their nation of corrupt motives will know how powerful we are. AND THEY WILL FEAR US ALL. Because their kind only knows how to live by the sickness in humanity, they are that sickness taken to the extreme. They want for power and fame and nothing else. They spend $10 feeding someone, and use $1,000 advertising it. The only way to check them is to once again instill a fear in them that would only be rivaled by a god. Because in this world, the only thing more powerful than WE THE PEOPLE, would be an omnipotent god to strike them down with a lightning bolt every time they lusted for power.
