There was no reason for a child to be shot, or any of them BUT the gunman went to that location at that time with that gun because it was Giffords' event.

But that's where their thinking is so screwed up...it's not always black and white, us versus them.

This is about yet another human being with a major disconnect picking up a gun and carrying out an agenda, and innocent people...ALL of them, regardless of who they were or their political stripe...becoming his victims.

That's ALL this is about. I believe there would be the same level of outrage on DU if we were talking about a Republican, and the ONLY thing that adds an additional "creep factor" to this is Palin, the "crosshairs map," and fact that the person who was shot WAS ON THAT MAP.

Try explaining that to a freeper. Then again, since they're keeping an eye on us just as we are keeping an eye on them following this tragedy, maybe one of their OWN will explain it TO HER.
