Bill Maher said he could understand why 1% of the voters would vote Republican....
But he could not understand why the other 49% would vote with that 1% ?? He said it was like someone came into your house and took everything you had out in a suitcase and you say, "May I help you put that in the trunk of your car?"

====================
My thoughts:

It is undefinable.

We need to be like Christians, converting these lost souls and saving them from themselves. Only the truth will set them free, not John Boehner or Jesus.

Spread the light. Bring them into the circle.

After all, we are all Americans.

But, in my opinion, what the Republicans are doing right now is nothing short of criminal.

3. Immediately preceding that comment, he said that 50 percent
of the country votes Democratic and 50 percent votes Republican. He could understand why the rich 1% might vote Republican, but he couldn't understand why the other 49 percent do. He was on a "people who vote Republican are stupid rant." His guests included Anne Coulter, Chris Hayes, Chaz Bono and some English woman who sounded like a Thatcherite.

4. Bill Maher's rich. does he vote Republican?
If not, then he should admit the 99% vote Republican for other reasons.

7. Obama is supposed to be converting them.
That's what we elected him for.

But instead of converting them, he has joined the Republicans.
