Recognize the real battle we are in. |
|
It is a battle of global interests of the powerful over the interests of the common good locally. It is a battle the powerful are waging to remove all obstacles in front of their goals. I think once people recognize it, then people can adequately defend their interests against it. The key is to not be fooled into thinking the narrow interests are in the broad interests of the common good and a democratic society. That requires learning as much as possible the implications of policies and differences and similarities of policies. The only arms the people need is knowledge. Knowledge untainted by distress, rhetoric, or false framing. That knowledge then becomes the most potent weapon people possess in the battle for the common good.

1. This is larger than local interests. |

Once they have essential control over all aspects of our country, they will continue to conquer other countries, owning them like stock.

That is the essence of the shock doctrine. Their goal is to erase existing structural impediments to implement their vision. It's our turn now. How will we respond?

Everything is dependant upon corporations, and that's one of the biggest reasons why this is not a true democracy.

8. And there's a simple solution. |
|
Stop giving them our money. Stop borrowing money from them and paying it back with interest. Especially borrowing money for crap we don't need. Starve the beast. That's the only way to fight them.

if its our money, why do we have to borrow it from them?
Other than that, I agree that we should stop borrowing from them.
