From Paul Ryan's Budget Plan (Political Killer F/Republicans) To A Mythical Obama Cut In S.S.
Funny how the momentum went from the public waking up to how hideous the Paul Ryan Budget plan was to some mythical plan where Obama was going to cut Social Security.

Anthony Weiner in between....

Sorry, I'm calling it Ratfucking. Republicans setting up bullshit to agitate and divide the Left from the Left.

3. It appears to be working.
People here thinking the worst is about to happen. Jumping to conclusions. Not waiting for facts. Disgusting.

4. "Pelosi didn't rule out changing the way the CPI is measured"
But speaking at a press conference shortly after the meeting with her caucus broke up, Pelosi didn't rule out changing the way the CPI is measured. She did say that any savings that were generated for the federal government as a result would have to be reinvested in the Social Security program. Pelosi also said it's possible that the move could be phased in over time, accompanied by protection for the poorest Americans.

"It would have to be something that would be put on the table ... that would address Social Security," Pelosi said. Not all lawmakers view it as a benefit cut, she said.

5. What is really sad is...
So many here on DU are buying into the right wing BS before any facts come out, and that's insane! Now I know the right wing trolls are out in force, and they come here to cause problems, but damn, why do people buy into this crap? What is wrong with waiting till the facts all come out? What is wrong with giving our president the benefit of the doubt?

Republicans have a whole lot of clowns running for the nomination, and even the majority of the party is not happy at all with their choices. The only way the right can gain ground is to divide the left since some on the left seems to willing to buy the hype before anything is even negotiated! Why do so many here fall into the right wing trap and not even see what is so obvious by so many of the trolls that post here?
