1. Side note:
Nothing makes me laugh harder then hearing someone call Obama a socialist, I must admit, I immediately discredit any debate or argument they are trying to pursue with me if those words come out of their mouths. It is a dead giveaway that the person has absolutely no f**king idea about politics, and that goes for the RW politicians that toss that word around too. Anyone that even calls Obama a "Liberal President" has zero credibility with me, the pundits that say it should be fired and the politicians that say it should resign immediately. There is just an overwhelming amount of stupidity in this country and it has reached critical mass. The best is asking these morons "what Liberal policies has Obama implemented?"......Then they squirm for a little before saying "the auto bailout". So the only "Liberal" policy they could name is one that worked remarkably well...I see.

19. Excellent
I remember I got into a heated email exchange a few years ago about this with a conservative friend. He finally conceded my point, but, man, it took a lot of history lessons to finally break through the wall of ignorance. This link would have helped.

6. Interesting how Reagan and Obama are almost mirror images in that graphic.
I am going to have to think on that for a moment. Reagan only talked conservative?

25. Thank you. The source used for the Obama numbers seems to be a mystery. Curious. The CBPP did it.
Center on Budget and Policy Priorities...

Seems legit, but what exactly were they asked to do?

Why the selective years and not each and every year?

15. From reading about the Eisenhower years
This was part of the approach they took in 1958 and fell flat. It worked extremely well in 2010.

But it's hilarious that HE is the "conservative god". They worship him. They should LOVE Obama by now.

21. All those rednecks with "Socialism Sucks" bumper stickers qualify to be considered
mentally ill. I say that because they live mentally in an alternative reality. That is hard to square with sanity.

26. Obama as a socialist makes me laugh. What good socialist gives billion$ to banks & big businesses?
And what good socialist takes control of a business and then publicly sells the shares?

Republicans hold to the Humpty Dumpty philosophy of words:

"When I use a word,it means just what I choose it to mean -- neither more nor less."
