The problem I have with the 11D Chess scenario is..
The players are limited to moving the pieces by bumping the board, some are better than others but the outcome is never certain.

1. Honestly, I am not sure what scenario is being played.
That has sort of been my theme lately.

I'm a bit disheartened that a more measured approach is quickly drowned out by "OMIGOD! THE WORLD IS OVER! SOMEONE PULL THE KNIFE OUTTA MY BACK!!!!!".

(And before anyone jumps on my case, I didn't suggest not reaching out to your friends, representatives, unions, etc to let them know where the line in the sand is. In fact, I suggested it and encouraged it.)

3. Think about where the news is coming from: Corporate Media Giants.
And then the blogosphere reacts to that.

It's a giant game of "telephone" with everyone trying to dissect ever eye blink and gesture on the very little info we have to report and editorialize on that.

4. The guy on our side seems to be playing hopscotch on the board instead of chess...
While Boehner can't seem to keep his flamingo's head down...
