Boy, there's a disconnect here...
We're doing an interview with the county building inspector in tomorrow's paper...here's his "snapshot" info:

Quality you admire most in a person: Integrity and courage
Favorite historical figure: Ronald Reagan

My question is, how can someone who loves a man who said in his inaugural address, "Government is not the solution to our problems, government is the problem" work for the government?

2. I've never been able to understand why TeaBaggers, and other assorted rightwingers, can't see
how ironic, even stupid, they are by voting people into office who hate government. Or so they say. Can't they see the glaring disconnect and hypocrisy??

Republicans should REFUSE any and all government jobs. They should have the courage of their convictions, no?

3. Maybe he's in love with the "Hellcats of the Navy" Reagan
or the "Death Valley Days--20 Mule Team Borax" Reagan.

Reagan knew how to work an audience, but he fell down on the "integrity" thing--Iran Contra and all that. And courage? He didn't race off to the front when WW2 broke out, that's for sure.

But hey, whatever.

Except for me.
