Betty Ford graced us with her life.

She spoke out for choice and womens rights. She opened up breast cancer for discussion. And she helped heal countless addicts and alcoholics.

She graced so many lives and was so unapreciated because of the criminality of her husband's party - the Republican party definitely didn't apreciate her.

Dead at 93.

1. She did more than smile
She did something that her two Republican predecessors as First Lady, Pat Nixon and Mamie Eisenhower, didn't. She spoke up. Very un-Republican of her.
