CNN deigned to have an international segment about Murdoch
today. I accidentally saw it as I was flipping. Everything was delivered in breathless valley speak, middle school style as expected. They DID talk about the phone hacking deal with Murdoch, but NEVER MENTIONED FAUX NEWS ONCE. Yes, they mentioned Murdoch, newscorps, but the average viewer has no idea who or what those are. CNN is suppsedly a competitor of FAUX, yet this is not the first time I've noticed them covering for them.

1. Doesn't Prince Alwaleed bin Talal own interest in both CNN and FOX?
I'm not positive of that, but I think his name came up with the the TimeWarner / AOL deals. I did a quick google search, but I'm not able to make much sense of who owns what.

3. It would be nice if a journalist would investigate.

Not holding my breath, though.

2. Remember when Obama sought to exclude Faux Noise from a briefing?
All the other networks said they wouldn't attend unless Faux got invited. To me that was telling. US news agencies have already consolidated to a point where they are now puppets.

4. I had forgotten that.
Do they stand united for progressive sites or journalists as well? I think I know the answer.
