Roman Pinal and the United Farm Workers Union.

Roman Pinal is an organizer for the United Farm Workers group who helped promote the “Fair Treatment for Farm Workers” legislation in California, which was ultimately vetoed by Governor Jerry Brown in a move some saw as a betrayal. Although the UFW has seen a decline in its membership over the years, it is still worth supporting this organization. The exploitation of farm workers in this country makes me ashamed to be an American.

This weekend I had an opportunity to interview Roman Pinal. My progressive brothers and sisters, Roman is worth listening to.
