5. Yep... those TAX BREAKS were in effect when we lost all those jobs...
If they were so magical, why did we lose jobs anyway?

They are TAX BREAKS... allowing them to EXPIRE is not a TAX HIKE. We need to rebrand these BUSH TAX BREAKS TO THE WEALTHY.

I'm not yelling at you... :hi:

8. That too!
But for some reason, that simple fact is lost on too many.

The RW has so many people freaked out... over and over again I'm seeing RW Pubbies and TeaBaggers argue that Obama is steering us straight toward socialism... and his cutting of SS, Medicare, Teachers, Firefighters, and Police Officers is proof positive we're heading in that direction!

ARGH!!!

The Idiocracy are here!

9. What would he have to cry about?
Edited on Mon Jul-11-11 12:52 PM by Liberalynn
the rich will get to keep all the cash they have, steal even more of what little percentage is left in the average person's hand, and Obama threw SS and Medicare recipients under the bus. What would Boner have to be upset about? Just because Obama didn't park the bus right on top of us. Just give him time, Mr. "Good Man" Boner. Just give him time. He will hand you your fondest dreams, in a gift wrapped package with a bow on top, all the while he is claiming that he is really looking out for the little person's best interests, and sadly many will continue to believe him.

11. I'm still totally confused
Didn't the pres say he was open to cuts in government spending (aka laying off government workers for a leaner meaner government) and changes to entitlement programs that didn't effect seniors currently relying on those programs (but not explaining how it would effect future recipients) now in exchange for promising to cut tax loopholes for corporations in 2013?

Thought the pres said no one was talking about raising taxes. So why would Boehner say no deal?

14. Reps really just want to tank the global economy don't they?
Thought for sure they'd go for no tax increases for themselves and their corporate buddies, leaner meaner government and 'changes' to entitlements.

Strange times for sure

13. Awww...right after POTUS gives him the death hug compliments,
he has to go demonstrate the contrary.

Have some more rope, Mr. Speaker.
