There are a lot of people pissed off at Obama right now and even more ready to be pissed and they are sharing those feeling anywhere they can. I personally am waiting to see, but am a bit on edge about these budget/debt ceiling talks. But you know what I love? The fact the we say what we feel freely! Back when Bu$h was in office the right loved him matter what he did. It was Jonestown and they were serving up Kool-Aid. It was disgusting. I for one am happy that we put our loyalty to ourselves above the loyalty to the President.

1. "we say what we feel freely" ... and when anybody dared criticize or even merely question |
|
anything Bush ... it was labeled as treason and hating America and wanting to kill the troops and ...
(and that was by the "liberally-biased media", no less ...)

2. Better to be pissed now and share it. |

Just in case it causes Obama to step back from the brink.

3. I would phrase is "our loyalty to our principles" rather than to ourselves. |

Despite the extra few bucks it put in my pocket, I'd rather the so-called 'tax holiday' had never been passed, as it further erodes the very concept of SS - while people are saying it is going broke, Obama takes money away from it, saying the shortfall it creates will be made up out of general revenues later. This, itself, erodes the separation between SS and the general revenue.
He does not share the basic Democratic principles of the New Deal.
