Turns out pizza mogul and Republican 2012 hopeful Herman Cain is quite the songbird. The Daily Caller found and posted six tracks from his gospel album called "Sunday Morning" on Monday and declared them "pretty darn good.”

The sound quality isn’t the best (think GarageBand rather than Lady Gaga’s recording studio), but Cain can definitely carry a tune.

Slate reported that while the songs are new to the web, they were recorded years ago. Wrote David Weigel, the album “was published 15 years ago by GLC Music, Selah Sound Production & Melodic Praise Records, and it is not being distributed now by the Cain campaign.”

The Cain camp has yet to jump up and boast about the tunes or use them in campaign videos.
