Why didn't DLC posterboy Rahm Emanuel refer to Republicans as "fucking retards"?

Why didn't Robert Gibbs suggest that repukes in congress should "take a piss test"?

Why are the very policies that saved this goddamn country from fascism, and kept it safe from fascism for half a century now considered "extreme" by people who claim to be members of the same party that created those policies?
