Why can't we get Anthony Weiner back? I don't even know of any republicans
that want him to stay away. They believe he is telling it like it is, especially where clarence thomas is concerned. How can we get him back?

1. Write him in, I guess. Since I don't live in his district (I wish!) I don't
know the rules there, and I dont' know if they allow write-in candidates.

I hope his constituents will stand by him and write him in IF they're allowed to. I'm tired of the Democratic establishment picking and choosing our party's candidates who best suit their (hidden) agenda, and who will fall in lock-step with them.

Nearly 70% of his constituents didn't want him to resign. I hope they'll come out for him during the special election.

He should've never resigned.

Also, rumor has it that his wife, Huma, is considering leaving him. I hope that's not true. I hope she can find it in her great heart to forgive him, and not let Brainfart and Darryl Issa win against one of the loudest voices in the House.

Oh, and did you know Alan Grayson is running for Congress again? :bounce: http://www.congressmanwithguts.com/tellalan

6. Not happening.
Anthony Weiner escaped to Miami for a romantic weekend with wife Huma to celebrate their wedding anniversary. Witnesses told us that the couple, who married a year ago on Long Island, looked very much in love as they dined with friends at Miami's celebrity hot spot Prime 112 steakhouse on Saturday night. The couple sat in the private wine room with the curtains partially closed.

Anthony and Huma, apparently untroubled by his recent scandal, were seen being very affectionate at the table and laughing as they dined with another couple. Huma had a noticeable baby bump while wearing loose-fitting clothes. They went mostly unnoticed but when leaving they stood in front of the restaurant. While their friends waited for their car, people started to notice and approach Weiner. Their friends chose to drive, but Weiner and Huma opted for a late-night stroll down Ocean Drive

8. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! This is wonderful news!!
You've made my day, mfcorey1!

What a beautiful and romantic outing, and I wish them many, many more! At least there's a happy ending to this story.

And may Brainfart and Darryl Idiot rot for what they'd done to him.

2. He never should have resigned.
He should have held on until the country was talking about a different Anthony.

3. If he wants to come back, he should. But the party leaders
wanted him gone. The people don't seem to count. I hope he runs again, if not right now, in the next election.

4. He's gone. Get over it.
There are plenty of other professional politicians in his district who can fill his seat adequately.

9. Because...
...he lied and accused other people of committing felonies.

I could not care less about the sex stuff - that is between him and his wife.

The lying and false accusations bother me. There are plenty of people in that district that will be able to perform his duty without the tarnish.

You would think that Weiner was the 2nd coming of FDR by some of the posts here...
