How does one go about finding the names of local service members? My volunteer |
group was thinking of sending care packages and was wondering how to find names of some local service members. Is there a phone number, web site, link, anything? Thanks in advance.

3. Usually a local American Legion or VFW can help. |
See if there are any local posts in your area.

5. Look up the nearest recruiter or base public affairs office in the phone book.... |
they can get you started or point you in the right direction.

7. VFW, Soldiers Angels, or your local Boy Scout troop... |
They often have a lead on them...
Also, you can call your local NG center and ask what their procedures are for acceptance of care packages. I wouldn't call to ask for names and numbers as that might get a visit from someone with a badge....
