Is Barack Obama a Republican at heart? Absolutely Not !
You say.

He was a community organizer in Chicago. How many Republicans do you know that are community organizers? Was he a registered Republican before he met Michelle? After all, he went to college during the Reagan years and many college students were influenced by Ronald Reagan. He has shown himself to be a big admirer of Abraham Lincoln. That doesn't make him a Republican, however.

And how many Republicans would have attempted to pass a healthcare bill such as the one he guided thru the Congress, you ask? Some might argue that he did not even attempt to pass a Democratic bill, a single payer or a public option, but opted for the same type of plan that had been proposed previously by Republicans, such as Bob Dole.

But what about the wars? Has he ended them in a satisfactory way to Democrats or has he acted like a Republican Commander in Chief? What about Guantanamo? Why didn't he close it? Would not a real Democrat have done that already?

What about taxcuts? He has passed two taxcuts already. Do not most Democrats put more faith in jobs programs than taxcuts? But he passed the stimulus, you say. Most of it went for taxcuts to the middle class and to states in attempts to save their public workers - teachers, firemen, and policemen. But very little for new job creation.

Did he really extend the Bush taxcuts because he was worried about those long-term unemployed not getting benefits? Where are those long-term unemployed now? Forgotten and still unemployed? Or did all of them get jobs?

Did he expand government or shrink government? There are reports that the Executive Branch has shrunk in size since the President took over. However, there is no rule that says Democrats cannot be frugal. And he has offered to cut government more than any President in history. He has offered to cut Medicare and Social Security by $3 trillion dollars over the next ten years. How many Democrats would make that offer? He has out-Republicaned the Republicans.

Is he a Democrat? Why would anyone have any doubts?

Nah. Duers just like to make shit up for no reason.
It keeps the Obama apologists on their toes! It's kinda fun reading the spin that's going on though. It's a new excuse every day. Never a dull moment around this place.

12. While in Law school he served as a community organizar...
After law school, he left the trade and did things such as Civil Right attorney. Along the way he made a great deal of money. When we hype one bit of his history we should to be aware of others.

11. No. Just another ambitious, professional, politician on the campaign trail.
"Were parties here divided merely by a greediness for office,...to take a part with either would be unworthy of a reasonable or moral man." Thomas Jefferson to William Branch Giles, 1795.
