its a cardinal rule that you dont negotiate with terrorists holding hostages. The GOP is holding the economy hostage and acting like terrorists,threatening to kill the recovery if they dont get their demands met.
Its time for Obama to call them on their threats. tell them the following.

you have until july 30th to agree to raise the debt ceiling. the dems have tried to make concessions but you refuse to make any.. so heres teh new deal.
the bush tax cuts are history on those making over 500k a year. in addition millionaires get hit with an extra 5% surcharge.
SS is now going to be means tested so millionaires dont get it.

If you fail to agrre to this come august 2nd when we need to cut huge amounts from the budget teh president will be using his authority to make cuts in the following manner.
1. debt re payments/interest
2. all government payments/offices/etc in republican districts are not terminated.
that should cut enough so we can make payments to the rest of the that was smart enough not to elect dumb fucks
